I’m applying to an accelerated nursing application at VCU to get a b.s.n. The application is really long and there are 2 essay portions. One is a brief summation of why you need to be a nurse. I recognise why I want to be anurse, but what do most nursing departmetns glance for in the answer/applicant?
Any information will be helpful because I am gearingmy whole life around this program! thanks.

See a college counselor and don’t depend on Yahoo users to know more than the professionals that can advise you.

The essay portion of all college application doesn’t really effect admission much. As long as you stay on topic and make it persuasive. You can’t go wrong here unless you have terrible grammar.
The majority of the admission decision is based on GPA.
