Question by Daniel: Can 12 gauge speaker wire handle 500 watts?
I have Scoche 12 guage “high performance” speaker wire; it was the best they had at Wal-Mart. Can that handle 500 watts? I have a Boss DD3600 which is a one-channel mono block and puts out about 1000 Watts at 2 ohms, but I’m using two speakers. Since the speakers are Dual voice coil, I can also run two lines to each speaker instead of splitting it.

12 gauge will do the job. since you have 2 subs that amp wont work you need a two channel amp
