Question by theguyversh: What type of battery do I need for my car stereo system?
I need an auxillary battery for my car stereo system. What amount of cranking amps/maximum output do I need for my system? I have a 1,000 watt Kenwood amp and the lights are dimming and I’m running through alternators like mad.

Kinetic or shuriken, they both make nice batteries. I am currently running the small shuriken on 2000 watts.

I want to be able to play cod on max settings and bf3 at hopefully mid for under $ 50. Would that be possible?

and thinking a 1080p screen, HD 5670 is marginal as may or may not meet what you seek.
That assumes you have a decent CPU also of G3D at least 3600 passmark certainly not below tier 5 at Tom’s Hardware site (box starting Core 2 Extreme QX6700 at left)

There are a few HD 6570’s, but not many, that we can say come very close. They cannot be guaranteed to be exactly as you state you want it.
G3D at or above the 769 in the Videocard Benchmarking is a must, and really you should be over 1000 to be sure. It is certainly bargain shopping just to get an HD 6570 at under $ 50 after rebates.

It would be very good if you can put out a tin cup or beg someone for a little more money for an HD 6670. The one at NCIX at $ 55 is out of stock, so looking at $ 57, but it is a big upgrade from the HD 6570 as 38% more graphics power.

The 6570 is 44 watts
The 6670 is 66 watts
Check your power supply.
They are both in the same general class and both DX11 Shader 5.0 Open GL 4.1
The 6570 was released a few months later, possibly as a downgraded clock.
I think the HD 6670 will do it. The 6570 is a definite maybe and may need lower settings tweaked down.

Question by Hijax: What is the best amp head and cab for an electric guitar under 00?
I need to upgrade my amp from a little 30 watt Randall, so I figured that I should just get a half stack. My main instrument is a Paul Reed Smith SE Paul Allender. I want a half stack that sounds similar distortion-wise to alternative and punk. I also need it to be loud for playing at small to medium-sized gigs. Whether it is a tube amp or not doesn’t matter.

A great amp head is the Marshall JCM 100 watt tube head. A awesome cab for it is the Marshall 1960 4×12 cab. they are usually available for less that $ 1000 for the head and $ 800 for the head. I have played them and the sound very good, probably the best sounding amp i have ever played on.

I have one of these guys in my car, and a buddy of mine has one running the exact same amp you do… be aware, it is only about 6awg, but it should still do ya fine… plus you’ll save $ 30 from what you wanna spend!
