Question by Paul: want to transfer to Colorado and had a few questions approximately snowboarding/nursing?
I’m a 26 yr old male and I am about to graduate from nursing school in Delaware ,and of course I love to snowboard ,so Colorado is at all times the position I’ve wanted to move. I guess the two questions are is there a lot of jobs in Colorado for nursing, and additionally what may be the perfect place to move to snowboard in Colorado? I like the suburbs ,but want to be close to the mountains so it isn’t to far of a drive to snowboard ,and also need health care facilities near that I can paintings at. Any information is appreciated.

DUDE!!!!!! right here is your solution there are a butt load of hospitals up in the hills. they are always looking for folks sometimes will give signal on deals wroth some major bucks. My wife is an RN and we moved to summit county for a season to ski I ride …..The whole 12 months she worked at the medical institution in the city then we would ski it was great with the sign on deal she got it was so large it paid the bills most the year. If I were you i would glance at every town that has skiing and a hospital as see what ya get you never understand! check out steamboat last I checked they needed people……. good luck!!!! let me know if there is anything else

I am a new graduate of a BSN program in Colorado. I have been searching for different jobs, but what I’d really like to do is become a school nurse. I haven’t been able to find any listings for this job anywhere.

School nurses either have advanced training (there are school nurse certificates) or are experienced ER or similar nurses. This is not a job for a new grad, sorry. You want to get some enjoy under your belt first. You are essentially un supervised as a school nurse and need the experience to know what you are doing. Those positions are listed through the school districts/local government sections, and they are very limited in number.

Question by : What are the odds of me getting a job contemporary out of nursing faculty (BSN) in Boulder or Denver, Colorado?

Licensing? You will need to meet Colorado’s requirements. take a look at the state’s occupational licensing on their website. (google that) Will CO accept your level from MS or have reciprocal licensing with MS? You will most definitely have fewer problems with a good BSN degree than RNs and other, lesser, credentials have.

What are you doing in your rotations? How much enjoy are you really getting and what hospitals – well regarded university medical institution or…? What additional experience may you obtain prior to making use of for jobs in CO? For example, you might want to work locally for a few period after graduation, then start applying out-of-state while you are employed. Added advantage – spares you huge expenses right after commencement when you probably have little to no money. Get some paychecks & savings in your account before trying to relocate.
