Question by Jana L: Do anyone understand of any on-line RN methods that are in Texas?
I am looking for online RN application in Texas(that offers clinicals at some local hospital). I am in college Station TX. They have two colleges here with nursing programs, but they are full-time during the day and that won’t work. The very best I have found so far is both Del Mar College (clinicals are either in Houston or Corpus) or a BSN online at TAMU CC.

You can’t become a RN online. I don’t want a RN working on me that earned a degree online.

Question by : Anyone know of any good RN on-line programs? And are they value it?
I just graduated from Lincoln Tech as a Medical Assistant. I need to continue with school and grow to be a RN b/c I want to paintings as a labor and delivery nurse in a hospital. I cant seem to find any local schools in South jersey for RN systems. Every time i search them a lot of online programs come up, and I want to make sure they are worth it and legit.

You cannot become a nurse online.Nursing involves learning hands on skills and working in clinical settings to gain practical experience. You have to do this in person ,not on the computer. How do you suppose you would be told to take ?care of people by sitting at a computer?

Question by j360: any person know of any just right online nursing schools to get your RN?
I might like to get my RN on-line but there are so many on-line schools to choose from. This question is most effective for those who have been in an online program. I’ve heard bad and good things approximately it. I heard that you only have one scientific at the end of the entire program, it may be out of state, and if you fail you have to do the whole factor over. Also will it be harder to get a job graduating from an online school versus public school? I would like an online school where you get alot of clinical experience and not out of state. If anyone went through a good online school, please let me recognize the details about it. Thanks so much!

I was just wondering what anyone’s experiences are with this. I live in Washnington state. Online classes are great and all, but how do you really earn a nursing degree online without the palms on and lab experience that you might get in a classroom?

I would be very weary or what they are offering. It takes a tonne of hands on with clinicals and labs and whatnot. Definitely try and get into a regular nursing school.

It’s LPT (Psychiatric Technician), not LVN. I only know of Cerritos College.

With your GPA and SAT score you will have no problem getting into SDSU; however, you won’t be able to apply to the nursing program right out of high school as a result of you must whole several perquisite lessons first. The perquisite classes takes about 1.5 to 2 years to complete general. You in reality want to make sure you get really good grades in your perquisite courses (I’m talking A’s and high B’s) because the GPA from those courses will be part of the application procedure into the nursing program.

The nursing techniques in all California State colleges are impacted and have an moderate of 1000-1800 applicants and only 120-180 spots to fill for the year. So as you can imagine it is extremely competitive. SDSU application process for the nursing program works off a point system (as do majority of CSU’s) You get points for Overall GPA, Perquisite GPA (anatomy, physiology chem… ETC.) , TEAS Score (entrance examination for nursing school) paintings experience, and volunteer experience.
