im not too sure but i assume drexel university in philadelphia does, i think nursing is one of the bigger programs at drexel, tuition is 40,000 tho if ur on the 5year application with 3 coops

Question by afriquequeen: Which Nursing software is the least competitive in Georgia?
I’m looking to practice to a BSN nursing program at 3-4 of the schools listed: Clayton State University, Albany State University, Armstrong Atlantic State University, Augusta State University, Columbus State University, Georgia college and State University, North Georgia College and State University, College of Coastal Georgia, Savannah State University, Macon State, Georgia Southern, and Georgia State school.

If you could supply information on admission stats, such as the quantity of students who apply, and the number admitted.

I’m trying to weigh my options on what school I will be so much eligible for admission, so the more data the better! Thanks.

almost every school provides this type of data on their own websites………
look up the information, write it down on a legal pad and then compare the numbers for yourself…………

Question by : Can you obtain a a real nursing job with an on-line nursing stage?
I wanted to get into the nursing box but my job hours and my child interfere with the scheduling of the classes on campus. If I was to go on-line could get a nursing job with an on-line degree? i realize some online stage are not looked upon highly?

Nursing training combines academic study and actual hands on patient care in a medical setting, so there isn’t a way to transform a nurse through online degree programs for those with no previous nursing license. If you were a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse already with a valid state license then you may just enter any one of a number of accredited online nursing schools to earn an advanced nursing degree online, but you can’t without first being a nurse already.

I don’t know about you, but I’m relieved to know that people cannot become nurses or doctors completely online. Would you need someone caring for your well being who had never practiced in a clinical surroundings under an instructor before? Not likely right?

While you can’t become a nurse online with no prior nursing background, you could earn a non-clinical but still medical related degree online such as a degree in well being care administration, health services, or public health (just as a few examples), then get a job in a hospital or other health care setting.

Hey everyone, thanks for checking this out.

I have a actual dilemma on my hands. My life dream is to become a army nurse, I truly feel called to do it. By the end of this 12 months (at around May), I have to make my determination about the ROTC scholarship and whether I want to join the military or not. A big bonus to the military is the paid tuition, due to the fact that my family cannot pay for college. My decisions are, Get into Oakland University’s or university of Detroit’s BSN of nursing software freshman year, go to Michigan State or University of Michigan, do my pre-reqs there, then try to get into their nursing program. If I get into Oakland, I do not need to do the ROTC.

I hear getting into BSN programs your freshman yr is truly tough, but do you suppose I stand a chance? right here are my stats.

3.9 GPA with honors and AP classes, 1st chair trumpet participant in all top bands at my school, All-District player each and every year, top rankings in Solo & Ensemble, Marching Band section leader, loads of volunteer hours, Student Council rep, interact (community service) member, Varsity Cross-Country, Soccer, and Track, observe team captain. **Do you think it is possible for me to get in a nursing program freshman year, or should I simply go be a physician?

Basically, I’m afraid to do nursing as a result of if I don’t get all A’s and get into a nursing program I’m scared of being left with a needless degree. Will it be useless? Then I think approximately being a doctor because I realize you don’t want to get all A’s, but then you go to school for 10 years. There are so many pro’s and cons, and I don’t know what to do. I can choose ROTC and pray I get into a good nursing school, or just go be a doctor.

What are your opinions? Sorry about the rambling.
Also, I don’t mind studying for long amounts of time. I’m additionally very very outgoing and friendly. I’m a nice people person.

It sounds like you are a very driven, goal-oriented person. I was in band, too (and played trumpet), so I know how challenging it can be.

You really need to talk to your guidance counselor and if imaginable go to the colleges you are considering for a visit. There are a lot of choices open to you and the ROTC sounds like a great way to accomplish your goals.

Question by : I want to take Nursing classes but when i took the compass take a look at I didn’t get school degree scores?
My reading rating is English 94, writing score is 81 and my math score is 62.
Do i have to take classes until I reach at college level after that i can take Nursing classes or i can take nursing classes with these score?

What was the purpose of your taking the Compass Test?
It seems that you will be eligible to take many of the prerequisite classes for nursing but I would anticipate your having to take a math prep direction before you sit in a college math course for credit.
