Question by angel: may it be more straightforward to get widely wide-spread into an LPN software or RN software?
Its very competitive to try getting accepted into an RN program. Would an LPN program be easier to get into to? And then after that I could transition into an RN program. How hard would it be to get into a LPN to RN transition program in Indiana once I get my LPN?

I have a science gpa of 3.68 (anatomy, physiology, cell bio, and microbio)

I have an overall gpa of 3.5….

I have always wanted to be a nurse…i took the nursing faculty classes (prerquisites) in top school since i was 16 to get closer to my dream so i am 18 applying for nursing school..

can someone tell me how good my chances are? im in WA. thank you!

Question by snow: I want help finding a section time RN software in California?
Hi…
I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the highest way to earn my RN going to school part time. I have an associate level at Mt. Sac and finished some prerequisite for the program. But Mt. Sac College offer best full time rn program. I live in Rowland Hts, so closer to the city is better, although I’d be willing to commute. Any lend a hand or suggestions may be helpful. I suppose you need to clarify with your school what their definition of “full time” is.

From a school’s perspective full-time is usually 12 credit per semester minimum as you advance towards the degree. . . that’s assuming you are starting from scratch and have to whole ALL the normal education classes AND nursing courses in that same time frame of two years.

If you already have finished your general training requirements for the degree and only need to take the nursing courses, then there is no need to attend “full time”. Nursing courses are sequenced and will be completed in 2 years (4 semesters in a semester based program). You might only need to take 7-10 credits of nursing courses per semester, which is part time. You’d have classes 1-2 days per week on campus and then 1 day of clinicals (this is how most programs paintings anyway).

I hope that makes sense. Talk to your school’s academic advisors to ask how this would work in your circumstances given that you hold the Assoc. Degree already.

Question by Renee B: What group colleges dont have the ready list for the RN Program in california?
I recognize only one faculty and would like to know if there is more? This school dose not have a waiting record and it is going by an instructional scoring machine and a lottery system. 75% of the scholars goes by high academic points and the 25% of the students goes by their name pulled in the lottery. I was hoping there are other schools that do that in California. Are there any? If so,… What college are they? Please be appropriate. Thank you.

I best know of the community colleges in Orange County.
I know that Golden West, Cypress and Santa Ana..and I THINK Cerritos College go by a lottery system.

This is only talking approximately what I had to do personally. I had to take A&P 1 and 2, Chemistry, and Math for Meds.
