As I understand it, the poor make money by panhandling, lawsuits (aided by lawyers), disability benefits, wealthier relatives, or bearing children so politicians can get votes and employers can have inexpensive labor. It is possible to apply for disability on line, but you may be rejected if you do not have a lawyer. I have also seen web-sites asking for money for particular individuals.
The middle class attempts to find some profit in wage labor while paying taxes and rising energy costs, etc. A plumber might use the web to get documents for his business, message and find clients, advertise, etc. A telemarketing worker might use the web to obtain information for marketing or collections.
The rich get capital gains and dividends on investments. They or their ancestors at some point ‘put up money’ for something like a factory for the middle class to work inside. If taxes rise, they may sell out and flee the country, or reinvest the money in a larger (or more automated) factory, so that they make no ‘profit’. If taxes fall, it may be a good time to ‘take money out’ or transfer some of the wealth to the next generation. A wealth person might use the web to ‘track’ his investments; telling a broker to buy or sell shares of a particular corporation.

2) Set up your own website/blog/forum to sell your own products and/or others’ product (google “affiliate marketing” for more details)
