Question by ch1nkst3r123: does it matter which Line Output Converter to put on my 97 crv if i am going to hook up a 1000 watt amp to it?
Sony Xplod .to a Line Output Converter to a factory stereo head unit

Answer by PimpMyRide Line output converters are like most other car audio products. You can buy cheap which will work and you can get higher end stuff that will work very well. And since the cost is such a small percentage of the overall cost, and getting a good input to the amp is so important, it just doesn’t make much sense to try to save money there.
For your CRV, I’d recommend a good LOC, and the best I’ve found are these by David Navone Engineering. This one includes a remote turn-on lead and the price is very competitive:

It’s also extremely easy to wire and the instructions are simple, unlike some of the other stuff on the market.

Question by Taylor B: How do I correctly put my 200-watt fuse into my 1000 watt amp?
So I recently blew my 20-watt fuse in my 1000-watt amp connected to 2 12″ subwoofers. Thinking it would be an easy fix I went to radioshack and got some more fuses. But now everytime I try putting the fuse in it blows everytime I re-connect power to my amp. How to I do it to make it so it doesn’t blow everytime?
Best answer:
Answer by PimpMyRide I’d suspect that the amp has an internal short that is blowing the fuse.
Either take it to a local car audio shop or electronics repair facility that does component level repairs, or put the amp information in here and get a repair quote:
http://www.db-r.com/cs/css/ttx.cgi
If the repair will cost more than about 1/2 the cost of a new amp, you may be better off just replacing the amp.

Question by : how does the 1000 watt Ninja blender compares to the 1500 watt Vitamix? I can get one for .00 at Bed,Bath&B?
Seems like it would be great for the price.
Best answer:
Answer by WallyZ The wattage really isn’t a good indicator of power. What you want to focus on are the number of RBMs, revolutions per minute, and the horsepower. The Vitamix is a well known brand name, I never heard of a Ninja brand so I would be wary of it. z
