As a masters prepared nurse myself via a 3 year RN diploma, then a distance education BSN, and an on campus MSN from UBC in Vancouver, working nurses such as Kathy and myself, are out there practicing the full scope of nursing in Canada and the USA in all areas of nursing practice. It took me 3 years full time for my RN diploma, 5 years part time for my BSN, 3 years full time for my MSN but hats off to Kathy for the thousands of lives of patients she has touched and the thousands of RNs inspired?
