If this is? your goal, I would recommend the Norwalk Juicer.
September 24th, 2012 at 1:55 pmI recommend a cider press for your uses. It will be the most efficient for juicing apples and wines and have been used for that purpose for? hundreds of years before electric juicers were invented.
September 24th, 2012 at 2:43 pmI have had the Omega 1000 since 2000. I’m ready for a juicer with a pulp extracter. I live on an apple orchard and juiced a? gallon worth of apple cider. What a pain in the butt. What juicer should i get that can juice grapes to make wine and apples to make my apple wine. I do not want a huge press in my kitchen plus I love juicing Kale. I could never afford that norwalk juicer that has that extra press for pressing pulp. Anything similiar??? Thankyou
September 24th, 2012 at 3:38 pmWe like to use Omega Juicers! Love em!?
September 24th, 2012 at 4:30 pmwhich? of your juicers have an all steel construction, ie no plastic parts touching my food?
September 24th, 2012 at 5:13 pmcool video, very informative.?
September 24th, 2012 at 5:42 pmI appreciate? your efforts to make the juicer choice easier. It’s just a lot to think about.
September 24th, 2012 at 5:59 pmHello, which juicer is best? for broccoli?
September 24th, 2012 at 6:03 pmAppreciate the? break down of each machine and the info.. I’m so impressed by the abundant garden! Are they fed by your juicing pulp? Great work!
September 24th, 2012 at 6:38 pmJohn,
September 24th, 2012 at 6:41 pmI have Crohn’s disease. I want to get a juicer that will? do the BEST job for both root vegetables, fruits AND leafy vegetables. I can’t pay more than $700 for 2 juicers. I’m going to be juicing carrots, celery, ginger, kale, lots and lots of wheatgrass, and many other kinds of veggies. Are the Omega 2004/2006 the best all-around juicers, or to get the added benefit of easily juicing beets, carrots, celery etc., should I get the VRT? wheat grass is key but other veg is key too.
Its not that I dont support centrifgual juicers. Its that I want to share how all the different juicers? work so each person can make their own choice as to which will BEST MEET THEIR NEEDS. each person has different needs. When I got into juicing, I purchased a centrifugal ejection machine, and it served me well for many years. Even today I still own a centrifugal ejection juicer, and will use it sometimes when I only want to juice straight carrots. See my other video on “heat the juice test”
September 24th, 2012 at 7:34 pmIf you don’t support centrifugal juicers why are you advertising the L’equip. i know its an ejecting one but its still a centrifugal juicer, doesn’t it kill the enzymes etc. etc. because of it’s high speed? Just wondering if you could clear that up for me? cuz i don’t understand that tid bit, i’m looking to buy a juicer myself, for fruits mostly. Thanks in advance, response is much appreciated 🙂
September 24th, 2012 at 8:33 pmFor juicing leafy greens, I recommend the Omega 8004 or 8006.? Its the upgraded model of the Omega 8005 shown in this video.
September 24th, 2012 at 9:28 pmGreat video! Very informative! I’m looking for a juicer that isn’t too expensive and can juice leafy greens, as well as other vegetables and some fruits. Should I go with the Champion juicer, or the last one you discuss? (Sorry I can’t make out the name!)? Thanks John!
September 24th, 2012 at 9:31 pmgreen power is the best for the money, next is an omega, next is a? norwalk if money is no object, centrifugal juicer are worst. cleaning is tough. juice is minimal.champion is great BUT green power slaughters them all. what about bph in plastics and the speed at which they extract? juice vitamin oxidisation? (can I have a job?)ive owned 3 out of four of these over the last 28 years.
September 24th, 2012 at 9:50 pmi have a champion wich is great for carrots but i want something for greens like? kale but i read reviews of the single augor juicers and many complain that the plastic can leech into yourr juice any suggestions.
September 24th, 2012 at 10:49 pmI like it? a lot. It’s works really good just like on the ad.
September 24th, 2012 at 11:42 pmhow are you liking your juicer? I’ve heard it’s one of the worst.
September 25th, 2012 at 12:22 amalso I was advised not to buy from infomercials.research and? read reviews before
buying anything.
thanks for? the summary
September 25th, 2012 at 12:57 amI like the? video dislike the website. You HAVE to update! Just consumer hint.
September 25th, 2012 at 1:37 amim getting the Jack Lalanne Juicer on friday.? from what i’ve seen on the commercials, i HIGHLY recommend it!
September 25th, 2012 at 1:43 amDepends what you mean by “dry enough”. Best to buy the juicer that will best juice the produce you want to juice. Some juicers are more efficient at juicing leafy greens, for example. Some are more efficient at carrots. Unless you buy a $2500 norwalk juicer, that is efficient at juicing most everything, but besides the high price tag, it can be more time consuming to use. Juicing, like life is about trade-offs…? until someone invents the “perfect juicer” for around $100!
September 25th, 2012 at 2:13 am@rawfoods I’m concerned with getting the whole juice and not having moist pulp on the end. Do these machines? produce dry enough pulp? thanks, great videos and website.
September 25th, 2012 at 2:41 amCheck my other videos. I actually have demonstrations? of using many of the different models.
September 25th, 2012 at 3:00 amStill not sure which juicer to get,? have to see them actually do the job, with the same ingredients, and then how hard it is to get them clean, that’s the really big drawback with all of these, seems like.
September 25th, 2012 at 3:01 amYou are doing a great thing by spreading awareness? and helping people get healthier-keep it up!
September 25th, 2012 at 3:38 amThanks for the video. Really cool. The Raw lifestyle? is sooo awesome. It has driven me to make vids too and spread the word although mine aren’t anywhere as cool as yours and I don’t know nearly as much as you do about fruits and veggies. Thanks for sharing.
September 25th, 2012 at 4:23 amI? am so proud of you for making the commitment to a healthy lifestyle!!!
September 25th, 2012 at 4:44 amThanks, I’m glad too. I had never? juiced before and I just started on Friday so it’s definitely an adjustment. I’ve had a really unhealthy lifestyle which eventually led to me being diagnosed with crohn’s disease and pre-diabetes. I saw the film “Fat, Sick and Almost Dead” and decided I needed to do something. It’s hard to stick to it, but I have to do this to take care of myself. I appreciate all of the videos you post! Great information.
September 25th, 2012 at 5:44 amYes, I did say that, but as long as you are sealing the container you put it in and refrigerate it, you should be fine. The fresher something is, the quicker it’s going to spoiler. I’m glad you’ve been juicing-that’s? great!
September 25th, 2012 at 5:48 amDid you say in this video that if you dont drink your? juice right away it loses its potency? Were you speaking about flavor or nutrition value? The reason I ask is because I have been juicing in the morning and taking a mason jar of juice to work to drink for lunch. I realize that either way, juicing is still a healthier alternative to other things I would probably eat, but I did want to understand why or how the juice loses potency if you dont drink it right away.
September 25th, 2012 at 6:09 amJuicing and eating the whole fruit/veggie have different benefits. Juicing allows your body to get the nutritious benefits immediately, and also offers a break to your digestive system. The reason why it’s important to also eat whole fruits? and vegetables is to get the fiber. I like to juice daily and include fruits and veggies at every meal. Great question!
September 25th, 2012 at 6:29 amWhy juice? Isn’t? it better to just eat the whole fruit or veggies?
September 25th, 2012 at 7:24 amGood? to know!
September 25th, 2012 at 8:23 amIt’s a touchy subject Kim, adding meat. Vegans and vegetarians are against it and you have to know where your meat comes from. You don’t want to use factory farm meats only local grass fed meats. If your? juicing to fast from the digestion process then you don’t want to add meat. When you do add meat add only small amounts and rinse it well. You have to adjust your fruits and veggies if you don’t like the taste. Tuna is excellent but you have to buy fresh and it’s harder to hide the taste.
September 25th, 2012 at 8:46 amWow, I’ve never heard of adding raw meat! Thanks? for the comment!
September 25th, 2012 at 9:35 amI agree I love to juice but I don’t just stop at fruits and veggies, I often add a little raw organic grass fed beef to the? mix. Raw beef is very good for you. I disagree with another commenter who throws away the pulp. Don’t do that, that’s just as bad animals on a meat farm being tortured. Respect the veggies as you would respect your meat.Waste nothing consume all parts of the plant. That fiber also helps you to keep from getting hungry and you still get all the nutrition.
September 25th, 2012 at 10:19 amI was on a budget:)?
September 25th, 2012 at 10:47 amPoor quality of? juicer .. Too much veggies for the juice you really get. Try the. Breville
September 25th, 2012 at 10:51 amWhat kind of? cleanse are you doing?
September 25th, 2012 at 10:58 amI swear I never freezed what comes out in the back. I always throw it out.? One thing wrong in this video is the she should’ve used a bag for the back so you don’t have to clean it up over and over. Other than that I guess I’ll try that part for soups next time and see how it will taste. I’m about to go on a real good cleanse.
September 25th, 2012 at 11:37 amI agree! The only brand of juice I buy if I can’t do it myself at home is Genesis Today. All natural and? 100% pure-amazing!
September 25th, 2012 at 12:11 pm, if what I’ve read is correct, when you eat vegetables, your body absorbs about 30% of the nutrient content during digestion. A great deal of this in the intestine I might add. However, if you juice, then drink the same amount your body absorbs more like 90% and most of the digestion is done directly in the? stomach.
For people like myself, who don’t love salad & struggle to try and eat enough vegetables, juicing seems like a gift from God 🙂
September 25th, 2012 at 1:01 pmYes, you can just add it to the same freezer bag and? then use it when you’re ready. Good luck!
September 25th, 2012 at 1:25 pmQuestion: do you just keep adding the fibrous material to the same freezer bag? And I’m assuming you do leave it in the freezer?? Up until now, I’ve just dumped it outside in the mulch pile, but I do like the? idea of using it in soups.
September 25th, 2012 at 1:39 pmI have the Jack? Lalanne Juicer-very heavy duty!
September 25th, 2012 at 2:25 pmI think you did a great job! Thanks!! By the way im sure you answered this (but im not looking at the comments anymore because some are not? nice) but what juicer do you have? Thanks so much and blessings to you!
September 25th, 2012 at 3:18 pmThank? you so much!
September 25th, 2012 at 3:51 pmGreat job on this video, you’re a wonderful host. I found this to be very helpful since I just? started out juicing. Don’t let the negativity get to you, keep doing your best!
September 25th, 2012 at 4:15 pmI respect your? opinion, thank you for commenting.
