May 21st, 2012 at 12:00 pmWow yall are pretty quick to assume things are more negative than they are….?
May 21st, 2012 at 12:58 pmOh come on guys I dont think that he meant to be homophobic when he said “im surprised that they were not gay”. He probably said that because nursing is a female dominated profession and females are stereotyped as behaving feminine and girly and gay? guys also have that stereotype. Plus a stereotypical girl or gay guy tends to care about people’s feelings more than a straight guy or butch lesbian so that’s probably why he said that I don’t think he meant to come off as being homophobic.
May 21st, 2012 at 1:27 pmWhy would they be gay. You best watch what you say while practicing your profession, some of those male nurses might end up putting their foot? in your arse…..
May 21st, 2012 at 1:53 pm“witch” is? a good thing?…I’m so done.
May 21st, 2012 at 2:38 pmthat’s the thing Mr. Professor, nursing has nothing to? do with ones sexual preference but the public view it that way, and they also view it as a female only profession, but that perception is slightly changing and in my group there are lots of males witch is a good thing.
May 21st, 2012 at 3:09 pmEnglish 101…”were” not,? not “where” not gay. Also, what does ones sexual preference have to do with providing nursing care for a person?…Grow up fast because nursing in the real world is not as easy as you may think it is. 27 year nurse veteran and counting.
May 21st, 2012 at 3:54 pmAhahaha Run!!! Your trainjustleft with your intelligence!! Catch it and maybe, maybe you’ll? have some sense. 🙂
May 21st, 2012 at 3:56 pmWOW! I cant wait to? finish my degree & get into it and train up to be a CCU nurse too! Got me excited!! yeeeeww
May 21st, 2012 at 4:47 pmThe Constitution of the United States needs at least one Nurse and definately a Doctor too….OBAMA SIGNS NDAA? . You Tube it. 730,000 views.
May 21st, 2012 at 4:59 pmLooks like she’s hypothyroid. Aslo repeated the same stuff over and over. I don’t know. When 90% of nurses? are men, then they’ll have some credibility. But if your job is put aside to go away and have kids…this is hardly a “profession.”
May 21st, 2012 at 5:46 pmThank you for? this video. I also amfinding nursing to be a rewarding challenging career!
May 21st, 2012 at 6:02 pm@Tom15452 half of the anesthesia done in? the US is done by nurse anesthetists. I’d imagine surgery must be very scary for you if you think the person keeping you alive, yet unconscious during surgery is an unprofessional, dumb, med pusher.
May 21st, 2012 at 7:00 pmIt’s a quite challenging role the nurses got. I am nurse and I love it? very much! Nice vid!
May 21st, 2012 at 7:30 pmVisit this for a real insight to nursing haleykatehk.blogspot.com?

May 21st, 2012 at 8:39 pmSo how do? you handle people who have psychogenic seizures?
May 21st, 2012 at 8:39 pmim studying nursing and im a guy, actually most of the people in my class are guys and? i was surprised by that…i was also surprised that they where not gay lol
May 21st, 2012 at 9:13 pmhow come all the nurses are women??
May 21st, 2012 at 9:14 pmObviously this Tom15452 doesn’t know what they are talking about..from their responces they do not seem to really know much about nursing? or being a doctor. They are just getting their so called knowledge from tv or the internet. They are using what VERY little they know to try and piss people off. Quite pathetic, albiet interesting to read, but sad and pathetic. Now if they are a doctor…well I can tell their bedside manner truly sucks and I feel for their patients.
May 21st, 2012 at 9:54 pmThey are not below doctors!!!!!? You have no idea what you’re talking about. They’re two totally different careers. They work side-by-side. Nurses take care of the patients; doctors just give the orders. It takes them BOTH, together. Nurses are in no was “UNDER” doctors!!! If I, as a highschooler, can realize and understand this, than it should be clear as day to you. Just because I’m a teenager doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m talking about.
May 21st, 2012 at 10:39 pmMy name is Simone D. this video was very helpful in giving information on the requirements and duties of? a critical care nurse.
