Hello, it will be good one.
Give your answer to this question below!
It will work!
If you can afford it, it would go with a Core i5-2400 and a H67 motherboard.
The motherboard supports 125w processors so you’re good to go there.
I would go with a Western Digital Black or a Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB hard drive. The “Green” and “Eco” drives are made for storage. These dirves are too slow for the Operating system and will make the system seem slow.
You will need a low power card like the GT 430 of 6570 to play Minecraft at Fancy settings. I would look at getting the Phenom II 955 and a video card instead.
Also, the processor doesn’t run at 9.6ghz. It’s a quad core and each core only runs at 3.6ghz. It’s like having 4 cars.
August 12th, 2012 at 2:21 pmWith the power supply (PSU), you should not compromise on it for a generic one, they are cheap and they are designed to be used in a limited lifespan; whereas something that is priced better and unfortunately more; will last longer. You should aim for around 600W just to compensate you saving up for a graphics card to handle the Video editing part.
The Hard drive is the second thing you should change; The Western Digital Caviar Green series operates at 5,400 RPM and uses the least amount of power (watts) when compared to blue or black series. Since you are doing Video editing, I would suggest going with the blue series; because based on budget, it’s not much of a price difference. Do not get the black edition; because its rubbish; it performs well; but it is noisy. I have one and not going back to it. I also have the VelociRaptor, which is very expensive and is more cost effective than a SSD (Solid State Drive) but it is the fastest you can go for a mechanical drive. A SSD does not have any moving parts, similar technology to an Apple IPod Touch and their IPhones.
You should aim for a hard drive that performs well, such as a 7,200 RPM drive or if you prefer a 10,000 RPM VelociRaptor drive…. its up to your budget.
Apart from this, it looks OK from there.

More RAM and another hard disk are a good idea for After Effects.
