You’re using the other one for metering purposes. So really? you are trying to overload 1 of 2 voice coils and its taking the abuse like a champ!

October 14th, 2012 at 12:12 pmdo you think it is possible to turn the plastic ring around for inverting the sub outside of a sub box? i want to invert a couple of these SA 8’s but dont know if it will work. do you think there will be a rubbing problem of the rubber? surrounds in the mounting hole, but most importantly, can the mounting ring be turned around on this sub? please tell me anything you can about SA 8, anything will be helpful. thank you.

October 14th, 2012 at 5:34 pmThe mechanical limit is the triple joint ring to top plate clearance of 25mm one-way. It’s? a plastic ring contacting the metal top plate. Much less destructive than if the coil were allowed to hit the back plate.
