Question by LadyJadra: What are a few good tools to assist me in a college nursing information class?
I am currently enrolled in an online statistics elegance for nursing. I have a 4.0 GPA in all of my other classes, but I just cannot seem to grasp the concepts in this class. I have at all times had a difficult time with word problems and applying formulas to them appropriately so I assume I need some assistance whether that means reference material to simplify things or a just right tutor. I may appreciate any suggestions on available resources.

I always found the books in the bookstore (like statistics for dummies, Barron’s series on topics, etc.) very helpful. I actually used the Barron’s guide for accounting and also statistics as I couldn’t understand the text. I would encourage you to find a coach for a few sessions (about $ 20 am hour) to get caught up. Craigslist Services or Jobs may help you

Please dont resolution yes explain.
My junior faculty doesnt have it but another college in town has carried out statistics.
Uab school of nursing requires descriptive.
so i was wondering may these classes be the same thing simply with other names.

I educate what is essentially applied statistics, though the path has a different name. The use of the term “applied” simply means that the student will not necessarily be exposed to statistical theory, proofs, and mathematical derivations – the focus will instead be on using facts. When I teach applied statistics, descriptive records is just a subset of what we cover. I frankly find it hard to believe that there could be an entire college course on descriptive statistics since it is just a (small) subset of applied statistics. So the short answer is that if you take applied statistics, you will definitely have covered descriptive statistics. Just save your syllabus and your instructor contact information so you can later “prove” that you met the requirement.

I would be very weary or what they are offering. It takes a tonne of hands on with clinicals and labs and whatnot. Definitely try and get into a regular nursing school.
