Ultra X3 1000-Watt Modular Power Supply
BR>
Visit tiger.tv for more on the Ultra X3 Power Supply. Ultra’s X-3 1000-Watt ATX, SATA-Ready, SLI-Ready fully modular power supply features an “EE” (Energy Efficient) platform that converts as much as 85% of AC power into DC power during typical loads. The X3 is also equipped with a 135mm ball bearing fan and honeycomb exhaust grill for dynamic and efficient cooling, as well as significant noise reduction. But what really holds the X3 apart from the competition is the fully modular power couplings. Instead of hard-wired cabling common on most power supplies, The Ultra Modular Power Supplies allow you to use only the cables that you want—no unnecessary wires clogging up your computer build. All the cords and connectors you’ll need are included. Watch TigerTV host Logan’s video review of this truly innovative PSU.

September 5th, 2012 at 1:58 pmwhat uses that 5 pin? sata connector? i’ve never seen components that would use that..
September 5th, 2012 at 2:11 pmCan you plug the 8 pin PCIe connector to the power supply and use the 6 pin on? the other side? Like instead of the other way around.
September 5th, 2012 at 2:35 pmA cheap power supply will? destroy itself.
September 5th, 2012 at 3:34 pmwill a cheap power supply destroy a motherboard and is there testing proof??
September 5th, 2012 at 3:41 pmah thats a good thing? to know
September 5th, 2012 at 4:12 pmmany thanks =D
80% efficient means that when using the 110V power supply from your wall it loses 20% of it’s potential power in the process of conversion of the electricity. It is still 1000w. It is just an environmental thing. The more efficient it is then the less energy you? lose.
September 5th, 2012 at 4:41 pmwtf no.?
September 5th, 2012 at 4:55 pmit? supplies 800w
September 5th, 2012 at 5:21 pmif a? 1000w psu is 80% efficient does it supply 1000w or 800w?

September 5th, 2012 at 6:28 pmlol it isn’t mine? system.
September 5th, 2012 at 6:45 pmyou can 🙂 i saw a vid of a system having 2 295’s in sli + a dedicated physx 9800gtx + a soundblaster soundcard + a core i7 965 oc @ 4 Ghz and that thing pulled 900 watts at full load? so you should be fine ^^
September 5th, 2012 at 7:42 pm2:25 lmao?
September 5th, 2012 at 8:34 pmim pretty sure? you’ll be good with 1000w
September 5th, 2012 at 9:14 pmAre pci-e power plug’s located in a psu? And do you only use them if you are using advanced $100+ graphics cards? Sorry If this sounds nooby, I’m still learning? :]
September 5th, 2012 at 9:37 pmmodular basically means you use the cables you want and un clip the cables you dont. it lets you have? better cable management thats all and makes the power supply slightly more expensive, so it should’nt effect you 😉
September 5th, 2012 at 10:18 pmwhats a modular?
September 5th, 2012 at 10:53 pmand is it a big deal if my 630w? power supply isnt a modular?

September 6th, 2012 at 12:38 amthis psu is having problems with the gtx 280 because? that card needs a dedicated 8-pin, while this psu has 8-pin to 6-pin connectors
