im looking for the right amp i could use for my 12″ rockford fosgate p3 dvc 4 ohm 500 watt RAMs 1000 watt max. i need to know what type of amp i need, and all the other necessities on the amp to make my sub bump even louder.. also in a affordable price range!!!!!!!

BAM! i got your answer. if you want that S.O.B. to bump like youve never heard it before. you want to find an 8ohm amp with 1500watt max. what youll do is drop the amp down to 4ohms and itll produce about double the bump.

Since you have a pair of 500w rms subs the logical solution would be a class D mono amp.
And since the subs are dual 4’s you have wiring options of 1, 4 or 16 ohms.
To match up with that type of amp 1 ohm is the obvious choice.
There are a wide range (price and quality) of amps that would fit your situation — 1000w rms at 1 ohm.
