I have a Xtreme 1500x 500 watt mono block amplifier, and am trying to figure out exactly what type of subwoofer i need, because there is so much mumbo jumbo i dont understand and am just getting more confused.

subs are rated by max witch dont really mean anything,you usuall go by the rms thats like countious power,,so a good begener sub is like kicker comps almost any lil amp will bang those,not the bigger rms kickers youll need a ton of money

The amp “continuous” power rating is 150 watts into 4 ohms, 250 watts into 2 ohms.
