Where to buy a new gaming computer?

Question by : Where to buy a new gaming computer?
Okay so I’m 16 years old and i want a new gaming computer so i can play the upcoming World of Warcraft : Mists of Pandaria game, Diablo 3, League of Legends, and more games. I am not the richest person ever so i want to get a gaming laptop that can play all those games atleast on regular or ultra settings with the cheapest price. I prefer buying it at a store by hand. So can anyone tell me or link me a computer that can do that, but at a retail store please? Some people have told me to make a computer myself by going to Alienware.com and Ibuypower.com. I do not want an alienware computer because some of my relatives have had problems with them so i don’t want to have the same problem. I’m not real big on online buying so when i went to Ibuypower.com i customized my computer but then at the end it said something like “Interest, and bills etc.” and im young so i have no idea what any of this means. Can anyone again maybe give me a little more inside information about buying a computer online? As in how it all works (I prefer people who have bought a computer online answer this question). I dont want to screw my parents over by buying a computer that says its 1000 dollars online and then having a bill that says a lot more. So thats the main reason why im scared of ordering online because at a store we can ask questions and things like that. So anyone please help i would like all the information i could get involving this situation. Oh and i want a gaming desktop not a laptop. Also if there is a computer at a store that can play Diablo 3 on regular setttings that is fine with me. I also don’t really know about the video cards because some require a certian type of watt or something like that and i just want to having a desktop that can play my games!!!!! i didnt realize it would be so hard to find one.

Son, let me give you a quick piece of advice.
Learn your computers now. If you like gaming, awesome — then you’re like everyone else with a console. But if you KNOW your computers, you can end up saving a lot of money and MAKING a lot of money as well in the future.
There is a high demand for computer related fields in the market right now.
BUILD your own computer. I know a great site called www.newegg.com where you can buy separate parts at a fraction of the cost of buying a completed rig.
Do yourself a favor and listen to my advice. It’ll only better you.
Good luck!

If you buy a gaming computer at Cyberpower,Inc or Newegg.com, It is safe and the price will be exactly what it says it will be-I buy from them all the time. You will want a quadcore cpu (processor) and 4 gigs of ddr3 ram.N82E16883227408 is $ 729.99 at Newegg.com-it has everything you need for good gaming.Tomshardware.com is where you can check video card values. This desktop has 600watts for the power supply and will handle future upgrades of a higher power video card should you ever need it. Newegg.com is 100% dependable and my favorite store. Gaming laptops can’t be upgraded in the future and desktops can-gaming desktops also cost less for more power-do your parents a favor and get a desktop.

Buying a PC is not really that scary as you might think it is. But you didn’t provide any information of your budget.
Personally for me 520$ of this PC + Free Delivery is a perfect deal but you are not an adult, you are not the one who’s going to pay for the purchase.

Without knowing your budget can’t really recommend much.
September 11th, 2012 at 2:55 pmIf you want a desktop, it is good to build your pc yourself rather than buying any branded.
September 11th, 2012 at 3:44 pmIt depends on how much you want to spend really.
If you want a desktop then the Eclipse matrix i5238r777 is about the middle road of price and performance. Or the Palicomp Hyper flame which is better.
You don’t need a top quality card or an i7 – so stay away from those systems

“Oh and i want a gaming desktop not a laptop.”
I don’t think you have a clue as to what you want!
September 11th, 2012 at 4:11 pmok in the usa it tends to be like this
tax and vat are added last what ya see online is price before that shit is added on which is usually a hundred or so more dollars then shipping
however sometimes you can get a mail and rebate offer and get it cut down a bit
first of places like bestbuy and walmart etc are all fucking hopeless for gaming what they recomend is latest garbage that wont go near games or will only last a year then the next patch comes out and your screwed
while getting a desktop for games is all well and good manfacturers charge you out the ass for a profit of hellish example
my build would cost you lot about 1000 dollars with everything and they would probly charge 1300
best bet is to get one of these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227392
it will do online games easily enough
graphic card is fine but isnt for heavy gaming online is ok anything other then that then you would need to change psu to 550w and a 6770 card be put in
but should last a few years
max price depends if own a monitor etc as they arent cheap either
if you buy this it probly come round to 600 with monitor and keyboard 800 max
contact me if need help
