i want to get an online criminal justice degree online from either troy state university, or pheonix, but i’m wondering if my employer would, say, think i took the easy way of getting my degree, or frown uponme having earned my degree online. of course i would be applying to either a police department or a private security company. 10 points to the most explained answer;<) thanks todd. i'll vote u best answer, and yes i'm refering to troy in alabama. i'm near birmingham Best answer:

I doubt if it would be taken seriously. Go to a well-respected University and get a legitimate Crimial Justice Degree.

Question by USA: Why are college degrees earned online disrespected?
I’ve heard a lot of people are biased against college degrees earned online. I think that’s pretty ignorant. I mean, you learn the same thing online as on a campus. Why does it matter as long as you passed and have earned your degree?

I mean, I know it’s at your home, but you still have to buckle down on your studies, and pass your exams.

Classroom and out-of-class interaction in an academic environment is a big part of getting an education. This is missing in online courses. True education is supposed to be a wrenching, total upheaval of a student’s thinking. This takes four years of campus immersion (OK, three in some countries).

It is easy to spot a person whose bachelor’s degree was obtained totally on-line.

The other reason such degrees are held in low regard is that historically, online (“correspondence”) courses were often sold by substandard schools, often not much more than diploma mills appealing to people who get their information from comic books.

HYIP are all frauds. There is no way any scheme can pay 1% or 2% daily without collapsing quickly.

You will lose money rather than earn, so no worries about tax or converting money.
